About B-town supermarket

Located at 472 McDonald Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11218, B-town supermarket operates as an other place serving Brooklyn in New York. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as supermarket, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

This group covers the other places gardeners shop and the businesses that turned up next to garden centers on the map: gift and home decor stores, pet and grocery stores with seasonal plants, craft and antique shops, and local services that do not fit a gardening category. Supermarkets and home stores are useful for a quick bag of potting soil or a pot of herbs; a nursery is the better choice for advice and plants suited to your yard.

Brooklyn is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Brooklyn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Got fresh vegetables always whenever I go there but price is little on the high end compared to other Grossaries . People on the counters are very friendly and helpful. I would have given 5 star but Couldn’t get good beef even once. The guy cutting meat always on his headphones talking when you ask questions about meat he becomes rude. When a person buy food they need to confirm it because they are the one buying it. I think he should be understanding and respect others.

Right in the heart of little Bangladesh. I waited with my children inside for the bus to come. The owners were very understanding and didn't bother us. They have two levels of food and household items for their community to indulge in

On sunday sept 8 I purchased an ilish fish from this store around 2pm. I asked the sales guy if this was a "padma ilish" and he said yes it is - it is from chadpur. I paid sixty dollars for the fish because it was almost four pounds and the price 16$ per pound. I came back to Rochester and opened the package. It was not a "padma ilish" it was a product of Mynamar. I did not expect this from Bangaldeshi store. I thought they were honest people.

I have never bought food here, but after seeing them load raw meat in 80 degree heat in open trolleys, I never will (see attached picture). This looks unsanitary. I hope people don't get sick from this.
